In the United States alone, it is estimated that 2.8 million people are affected by binge eating.
- 3.5% of women and 2.0% of men will develop binge eating disorder in their lifetime.
- A whopping 30% of people who seek the support of weight loss programs are likely to experience binge eating symptoms.
